Location – Europe
Our client has commissioned the build of a superyacht in a world renowned European yard and has an urgent requirement for an Owner’s Representative to manage his interests throughout the build period.
Requirements:
* Prior senior level experience gained in the build of large motor yachts in excess of 40m. This is likely to have been obtained as a build captain or from having worked in a project management capacity for a yacht builder.

* Prior working experience in a superyacht manufacturing facility.
* Technical background – an in-depth understanding marine engineering essential.
* Highly refined budgetary and project management skills essential.
* People skills/cultural awareness/diplomacy - prior experience of working within a foreign culture and amongst a local workforce desirable. Ability to deal equally effectively with a HNW client, the boat yard management team and the technical teams actually building the yacht.
* Self starter – there is a great deal of autonomy and responsibility in the role, requiring a tough independently minded individual who requires low levels of supervision and is confident in their own ability.
